About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Assam Institute of Management has been established in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The IQAC functions as a central mechanism to ensure continuous improvement in the overall performance of the institution.
The IQAC works towards developing a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in academic and administrative performance, thereby fostering a culture of quality within the institution.

Objectives of IQAC
The primary objectives of the IQAC are:
- To develop a quality system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution
- To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement
- To ensure internalization of quality culture and best practices
- To facilitate timely submission of AQARs and other quality-related reports
Functions of IQAC
The IQAC undertakes the following functions:
- Development and application of quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities
- Facilitation of learner-centric teaching-learning processes
- Organization of workshops, seminars, and quality improvement initiatives
- Collection and analysis of feedback from stakeholders
- Documentation of quality initiatives and best practices
- Acting as a nodal agency for quality-related matters and accreditation processes
